Recently Artist Manuel Martinez became critically ill and was rushed to the hospital in the middle of the night. The surgeons performed a number of surgeries and informed me that only time would tell if Manuel would survive. Right before this horrific moment, life was wonderful as Manuel and I started working on our new gallery, planning, hanging and working together. This was such a nightmare.
Everyday that passed after Manuel's surgeries, he became a little stronger and healed a little each day. Manuel remained in the Intensive Care Unit for two weeks and is still in the hospital being cared for. The family has created a Go Fund Me to help us at this critical time.
We are still opening the gallery on Saturday March 7th and 8th. We will be open EVERY weekend from here on out. If you are in the Old Town, Albuquerque area, please stop by and show your support. Thank you to all of our patrons, followers, friends and family.
