I have added my older Wolf images on our Etsy shop, which can be found on the Etsy tab here on our website. My work has always reflected my life and at that time, what inspired me was my beautiful Gordita's, Day of the Dead and of course my Blessed Mothers. There is a lot of humor in my Day of the Dead art, because death should not be taken so seriously, since no one gets out alive anyway.

Some examples of my Day of the Dead would be My Chubby skeleton who is grocery shopping and in her grocery basket you can find the game of life, diet pills, etc. My Borracha's is a group of drunk friends who are enjoying a girl’s night drinking, smoking, taking selfies and loosing shoes. Too much of this is probably what got them where they are in the painting. The tortilla maker is my way of showing that a good (delicious) tradition will always live on.

There are many, but the last image I will mention here is the Cougar. The tattoos on her arms read "on the prowl" and of course "Cougar" I think her pose says it all. My Gorditas are my beautiful women, I still paint my Gorditas. I love showing the beauty of a large woman, the women that do not fit the blueprint of society. I have had these files saved away for a while and like the movie, "nobody puts baby in the corner."

If you are interested in purchasing a print or greeting card with any of our images, please feel free to contact us. Or if you just want to take a stroll inside of our heads, and view the gallery please feel free and enjoy.

Well Santa Fe's Contemporary Hispanic Art Show has come and gone. It was a successful show, we met new friends and reconnected with old friends. Many photos of our work were taken including by the Georgia O'Keeffe Museum and the Santa Fe Media. We met patrons from California, Texas, Colorado, Utah, Sweden, Oaxaca Mexico, Japan and more. We were lucky enough to talk with everyone and many of our new pieces have a new home. Thank you to everyone who came out and supported the event.
