Part of the Black Lipstick Army series, Stormy honors the grit, resilience, and unapologetic strength of a woman who has spent her life in the saddle. Now in her 70s, Stormy has been a cowgirl from the beginning—ranch life is not a hobby, it’s her soul’s terrain. She’s been kicked by horses, thrown to the dirt, and faced down herds that could crush her in a heartbeat. And still, she rises—before the sun, working harder than the men around her just to be seen, just to be taken seriously.

She’s weathered a lifetime of proving herself in a world that didn’t always make space for her. Yet she carries no bitterness—only pride, power, and an unwavering moral compass. Stormy is fearless, firm, and fiercely loyal to what’s right. She stands for every woman who’s had to fight to be heard, and she does it without apology.
